Family Compass recently held its annual Lip Sync Battle in efforts to raise funds to support its mission of preventing child abuse and neglect. NDBT’s participation in this event, led by Toni McReynolds, CFP, CRSP, and her Trust | Wealth Management team, has inspired the rest of the organization to come together and win Top Fundraiser Award in back-to-back years.
Toni serves on the Board of Directors at Family Compass as Secretary. “I love working with an agency whose mission is to prevent child abuse and foster a healthy home environment,” says Toni. “I also like that they work one-on-one with families through home mentoring programs and equipping parents with the tools they need through educational programs.”
After 4 years of participation, NDBT’s involvement and dedication has grown stronger and evolved into a complete production, each year adding more elements such as extravagant costumes and décor. The pressure was on this year to keep our reigning title as Top Fundraiser and lip sync battle champions. As the summer heated up so did our competition, but we brought our A-Game!
“The lip sync is a fun team event for the employees at NDBT to get together to support a great agency like Family Compass,” Toni adds. “Our employees are passionate about participating because we keep upping our game each year!”
