About Brandi

Brandi Shiflett is Chief Operating Officer for NDBT, responsible for the oversight of day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the bank as well as the implementation, coordination and monitoring of strategic initiatives and operating plans developed for the bank.  Brandi also acts as a  proponent and guardian of NDBT’s cultural values, Mission and Core Values, and standards.

Experience, Education and Certifications

Brandi actually began her banking career while still in high school, working in the “bookkeeping” department of her local bank while attending school.  She returned to the industry after college, moving to Dallas and joining Grand Bank, where she worked primarily on the deposit and operations side of the bank.  Brandi transitioned to NDBT in 2018 as a Senior Operations Officer and became the first Chief Operating Officer of the bank in 2021.

Brandi earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University and is a graduate of the Texas Bankers Association Management Development Program Class VII.

Community and Family

Brandi and her husband, Tommy, have 3 children.  They are members of NorthPlace Church in Garland and are very active in YoungLife Wylie and various school booster clubs. Brandi is also a frequent volunteer for NDBT Cares, the bank’s community engagement program supporting a variety of non-profit organizations in and around North Texas.
