About Jay

Jay Henry serves as Market President for NDBT, responsible for business development, expansion, hiring and promotion of the bank’s brand in the NW Dallas County market, which includes the Las Colinas and Addison Banking Centers.

Experience, Education and Certifications

Jay has been in the banking industry for almost 40 years, the last 24 with North Dallas Bank & Trust, where he began as an EVP in Commercial Lending. He previously served as a commercial lender for Republic Bank and President of the Coppell Banking Center for Overton Bank & Trust.

Jay earned a Bachelor of Business Administration – Marketing degree from Texas A&M University. He currently serves as an Advisory Board member for the Texas A&M University Commercial Banking Program.

Community and Family

Jay is an active member of his community, currently volunteering on the Metrocrest Services Finance Committee. He previously served on the Board of Directors for the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce, as President of the Board of Directors for the Addison Business Association and Chairman of the Board for the Trinity Medical Center of Carrollton.

Jay and his wife, Jody, have two adult daughters and four grandchildren. They are active members of First Baptist Church at The Fields, where Jay is a Deacon, Connect Group Leader, Finance Committee member and Chairman of the Capital Campaign Committee.
