About Mai Ly

As Vice President and Trust Operations Manager, Mai Ly is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and management of the Operations team. Her duties include establishing and implementing efficient processes and systems that enable the Trust | Wealth Management group to provide excellent, dependable service and reporting to our clients as well as ensure compliance with established internal controls and regulatory requirements.   Mai Ly also oversees the operational functions of fiduciary cash management, asset security and movement, and tax reporting requirements. 

Experience, Education and Certifications

Mai Ly joined NDBT in 2001, moving to the Trust | Wealth Management Division in 2021 to lead Trust Operations. She brings 18 years of IT & Project Management experience to the team. 

She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas and earned the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification in 2021. Mai Ly is currently working on obtaining the Accredited Trust Operations Professional (ATOP) certification.

Community and Family

She and her husband, Daniel, have three children.  As a family, they participate in various local charitable events across the city.  Mai Ly is an active member of her church, and in her free time enjoys sports and a nice cup of coffee.
