About Lisa

Lisa Rushing serves as NDBT’s Senior Vice President – Director of Community Engagement. In her role, Lisa oversees NDBT Cares, an employee led community outreach initiative designed to elevate the community service aspect of our Mission Statement. She is responsible for identifying service opportunities for expansion and helps elevate the impact of NDBT’s resource investment.

Experience, Education and Certifications

Lisa’s experience in a community engagement leadership role began almost 20 years ago as a teller in NDBT’s Plano banking center. During her tenure with the bank, Lisa has served as a relationship banker, a senior lending assistant and corporate business development officer. She was named Director of Community Engagement in 2022.

Lisa attended Dallas College and currently serves on the Financial Committee for Watermark CDC and the Financial Inclusion Roundtable at the Federal Reserve Bank. 

Community and Family

Long before her transition into the community engagement leadership role, Lisa was an active volunteer with several North Texas non-profit organizations, including Cristo Rey-Dallas, Family Gateway and Family Compass.

Lisa and her husband, Richard, have three children and are active members of ReChurch in Kaufman, Texas, where they serve as community group leaders. Lisa also served for several years as Children’s Ministry Director at the church.
