Bank’s Director of Credit Risk Management Assumes Role as Chief Credit Officer

DALLAS, TX (June 18, 2024) – NDBT (North Dallas Bank and Trust Co.), an independent community bank established in 1961, has named Patrick McDonald as the bank’s new Chief Credit Officer (CCO). He replaces James Tipton, who recently assumed the newly created role of Chief Analytics Officer at NDBT.

Mr. McDonald spent the past three years as SVP, Director of Credit Risk Management for NDBT. His new role as CCO has a strategic focus and is responsible for managing the bank’s Credit Administration/Operations and Loan Operations functions. Mr. McDonald began his banking career with the Texas Department of Banking and became a Commissioned Bank Examiner during his five years at the Department. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration (finance and accounting) from Texas Christian University.
