About Larry

Larry Miller is President & Chief Executive Officer for NDBT and serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors. As the chief visionary and senior strategic officer for NDBT, Larry focuses on ensuring the sustainability of the enterprise, the preservation of the bank’s unique culture and the preparation of the next generation of NDBT Bankers.

Experience, Education and Certifications

Larry has spent his entire banking career with NDBT, beginning with his first job as North Dallas Bank & Trust’s mail services representative in 1982. His journey from the mailroom to the boardroom has included a variety of positions within the bank including Mail & Research Clerk, Collections Manager, Credit Analyst, Credit Manager, Loan Officer, Banking Center President and, ultimately, President & CEO.

Larry earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Abilene Christian University. He is currently Vice Chairman of the Advisory Board and a member of the Executive Committee for the Commercial Banking Program at Texas A&M University.

Community and Family

A pancreatic cancer survivor, Larry is very active in sharing his story of faith and perseverance as a positive message to others facing challenges in business and life. He and his wife, Gwen, are active members of Watermark Community Church, where Larry serves in Community Group Leadership. He is also a volunteer with The Human Impact, a homeless support organization in Dallas.
