Taylor Galaway promoted from BSA Specialist to Officer

DALLAS, TX (August 5, 2024) – NDBT (North Dallas Bank and Trust Co.), an independent community bank established in 1961, has promoted Taylor Galaway to the role of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Compliance Officer. She has been employed as a BSA Specialist with NDBT since April 2023.

In her new role, Ms. Galaway will manage the bank’s BSA program and protect NDBT through detection and prevention of money laundering. The BSA, established in 1970, requires financial institutions to help the government investigate financial crimes, especially money laundering.

“Taylor elevates our BSA Program with her keen eye for catching suspicious activity,” said Gina Brown, NDBT’s enterprise risk manager. “She also carries a kind, sunny disposition and is ready to support our frontline.”

Prior to joining NDBT, Ms. Galaway was a BSA compliance assistant with Trust Texas Bank in Cuero, Texas. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi.
