About Allen

Allen Hudson serves as Chief Lending Officer for NDBT, focusing on strategic planning, management and development of the Bank’s loan portfolio and the oversight of lending activity. As CLO, Allen ensures the Bank maintains a strong, well-diversified loan portfolio that reflects NDBT’s cultural standards, strategic initiatives, budgetary objectives, performance goals, market focus, risk tolerance and overall growth strategy.

Experience, Education and Certifications

Allen’s experience as a community banker spans 40 years, including more than 24 years with NDBT, where he first served as a senior vice president in 1999. His experience at North Dallas Bank & Trust included roles as a commercial loan officer and President of the Dallas Banking Center prior to becoming CLO of NDBT in 2021. He began his banking career as a credit analyst with Preston State Bank.

Allen earned Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration degrees from Baylor University. 

Community and Family

Allen moved to North Texas in 1972 and volunteers for a variety of community support activities through NDBT Cares. He and his wife, Kristi, have two grown children and a Border Collie (Heidi). They are active members of Prestonwood Baptist Church.
