NDBT Hires New Chief Information Officer

DALLAS, TX (March 11, 2022) – NDBT, a leading Texas community banking organization, announces the addition of Shane Harkins as Chief Information Officer. Mr. Harkins comes to NDBT after serving the past 13 years as a VP, Director Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas.

In his new role, Mr. Harkins is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s information technology and systems, including information and cybersecurity. In addition, he will lead the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems in support of bank operations to increase efficiency, improve customer service, and contribute to bank and performance objectives.

“Shane brings the technical expertise, background and culture needed to help with the sustainability and growth we have planned for NDBT,” said Brandi Shiflett, Chief Operating Officer with NDBT.

Mr. Harkins brings more than 25 years of broad technology expertise in personal wealth management, insurance, and financial services to NDBT. He previously held VP and Director level positions in Information Technology and Technology Solutions with Marsh Private Client Life Insurance Services in California and Ash Brokerage Corporation, a leading nationwide insurance brokerage and wealth management provider in Indiana. He earned a B.S. Information Technology – Security degree from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah.
