DALLAS, TX (June 18, 2024) – NDBT (North Dallas Bank and Trust Co.), an independent community bank established in 1961, has named Patrick McDonald as the bank’s new Chief Credit Officer (CCO). He replaces James Tipton, who recently assumed the newly created role of Chief Analytics Officer at NDBT.

Mr. McDonald spent the past three years as SVP, Director of Credit Risk Management for NDBT. His new role as CCO has a strategic focus and is responsible for managing the bank’s Credit Administration/Operations and Loan Operations functions. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration (finance and accounting) from Texas Christian University.

“We recognize the key to sustainability for our organization lies within the strength and talent of the bankers we have on our staff,” said Larry Miller, NDBT’s president and chief executive officer. “When it came time to name a new Chief Credit Officer, Patrick was the obvious choice given his knowledge of our business, his embrace of our culture, his technical brilliance, and his proven leadership skills.
